MAUS-TRATOS INFANTIS, SINGULARIDADE E CONTEXTO: UM DESAFIO PARA A CLÍNICA DA TERAPIA OCUPACIONAL
Abstract
Os maus-tratos contra a criança constituem um problema de saúde publica que representa uma das mais complexas situações que poderemos encontrar na clinica da Terapia Ocupacional. Ocorre, geralmente, nas relações interpessoais em que 0 agressor típico e 0 responsável pela criança. Os casos, em geral, são negados pela vitima, pelo agressor, pela família e quase sempre não são diagnosticados pelo profissional de saúde que desconhece as principais manifestações de sua ocorrência ou os negligencia.O terapeuta ocupacional, através de sua especificidade, permeada pelas transformações paradigmáticas pós-modernas, em que as praticas procuram valorizar 0 singular, 0 idiossincrático e o contextual mente situado, pode contribuir substancialmente na atenção a esta clientela, intervindo através do brincar e de atividades expressivas que possibilitem a recomposição de universos de subjetivação da criança, sem deixar de lado a intervenção interdisciplinar voltada a família e ao agressor.
