HUMANIZAÇÃO DO LABORATÓRIO DE ESPECIALIDADES GOVERNADOR MARIO COVAS: CRIAÇÃO DE UMA BRINQUEDOTECA
Abstract
o tempo de espera para atendimento de uma consulta no ambulatório de especialidades Governador Mario Covas dura em media 4 horas; este e um momento angustiante para as crianças e seus familiares. Considerando que a principal atividade de vida diária da criança e 0 brincar e que durante a sua permanência no ambulatório de especialidades encontra-se limitada para realizar esta atividade, pensamos em proporcionar 0 brincar durante 0 tempo de ociosidade. Para alcançar 0 objetivo do brincar, decide-se pela criação de uma brinquedoteca, garantindo um espaço para 0 desenvolvimento de atividade lúdica para as crianças que aguardam atendimento, conseqüentemente diminuindo 0 estresse causado pelo tempo de espera. Participaram da pesquisa 40 crianças, com idade entre 2 a 9 anos que freqüentaram a brinquedoteca enquanto aguardavam atendimento no ambulat6rio de especialidades. Para avaliação a respeito da criação da brinquedoteca realizou-se entrevista com os pais ou acompanhantes da criança e, de acordo com a resposta dos entrevistados a respeito da criação da brinquedoteca, obteve-se 0 seguinte resultado, 6timo (53%), bom (37%) e regular (10%). Em relação ao comportamento da criança durante a espera da consulta, consideraram que a criança permaneceu menos impaciente (42%), menos ansiosa (26%) e mais feliz (32%). Com a criação da brinquedoteca ambulatorial foi possível proporcionar bem-estar para a criança e seus acompanhantes durante 0 tempo de espera para 0 atendimento, atingindo 0 objetivo da pesquisa.
